On Saturday afternoon (June 24), Temple Beth-El is organizing the Jewish community’s participation in the St. B’nai Israel at the Saturday morning service starting at 10 a.m. A cocktail reception follows the service. ![]() The special guest speaker is Rabbi Steve Greenberg, the first openly gay Orthodox rabbi and founder of the Jerusalem Open House, the Holy City’s LGBTQ community center. Petersburg will lead sabbath prayer services at Congregation B’nai Israel. Friday (June 23), rabbis and musicians from both Temple Beth-El and Congregation B’nai Israel of St. Pride Shabbat: Two Jewish congregations are partnering to create Pinellas County’s Pride Shabbat with worship services, a cocktail reception, lunch and participation in the downtown St. The evening features BOGO margaritas/frozen drinks and post-game fireworks. Pride at TD Ballpark: Follow the golf cart parade to TD Ballpark to watch the Dunedin Blue Jays take on the Clearwater Threshers. The parade starts near Mease Hospital, then travels west down Main Street and south down Douglas Avenue to TD Ballpark for a ball game. ![]() Expect to see tricked-out carts and hear “We Are Family” blare from speakers.
